PVDF prepainted aluminum strip is coated roll-forming material designed for exterior venetian blinds, horizontal blind slats, architectural sun-shading louvres and other outdoor shading systems. The material is supplied in coil, slit-strip or slat-ready form for sectional rolling, pressing and forming processes.
Common substrate options include AA3003, AA3005 and AA3105 in H24 temper. These aluminum-manganese alloys combine practical formability, corrosion resistance and sufficient strength for suitable exterior blind profiles, while the PVDF coating provides a factory-finished surface for applications exposed to sunlight and outdoor weather.
Dingang supplies customized thicknesses, slit widths, colors and coating requirements for blind manufacturers and architectural shading-system suppliers. RAL K5, RAL K7, Pantone, wood-grain and customer-approved color references can be discussed according to project requirements.

Exterior blind slats are exposed to sunlight, temperature changes, rain and atmospheric contamination. A PVDF coating system can be selected when enhanced outdoor weather resistance and color stability are required compared with general-purpose coating systems.
Exterior blinds are often visually integrated with façades, window systems and architectural cladding. Consistent color and controlled gloss are therefore important when several slats, coils or production batches are used on the same building.
Blind strip must usually pass through rolling, pressing, bending or profiling operations. The coating needs sufficient flexibility and adhesion to tolerate the intended forming sequence without unacceptable cracking or delamination.
AA3003, AA3005 and AA3105 are aluminum-manganese alloys widely used in formed architectural products. Combined with appropriate pretreatment and exterior coating, they provide a practical substrate for outdoor shading components.
The following values summarize the listed coating-performance specification associated with this product range. Final test methods, coating system and acceptance criteria should be confirmed in the purchase specification before production.

| Recommended Selection Basis | Building location, sunlight exposure, climate and specified weathering performance | Project budget, installation environment and required service conditions |
Exterior venetian blind slats are manufactured by converting flat aluminum strip into a profiled blade or louvre. Depending on the blind design, the production process may include continuous feeding, pressing, roll forming, edge shaping, punching or cutting.
Stable strip width, consistent material condition and predictable coating flexibility help manufacturers maintain repeated profile geometry during continuous production.
For a new slat profile or production line, the strip thickness, feed width, alloy, temper and bending radius should be confirmed against the forming equipment before bulk production.
The listed color-coated aluminum slitting capability ranges from 15 mm to 2650 mm. This allows strip width to be selected according to the flat feed requirement of the blind or louvre manufacturing line.
For blind production, width consistency is important because dimensional variation can affect the finished slat profile, edge geometry and downstream assembly.
Slitting burr should be kept as small as practical. Excessive burr can interfere with material feeding, contact tooling, create handling problems or affect the edges of finished blind slats.
Color-coated blind strip can be matched to RAL K5, RAL K7, Pantone or an agreed customer color reference. This is useful when blinds need to coordinate with windows, curtain walls, façade panels or other exterior architectural materials.
White, Silver, Anthracite Grey and Brown are listed options for exterior blind and façade applications. Project-specific shades should be approved before bulk production.
Wood-look and other decorative finishes can be discussed for shading systems requiring a warmer or more distinctive architectural appearance. The exterior suitability of each finish should be confirmed according to the coating construction and installation environment.

Provide the finished slat profile or flat-strip feed requirement. Profile geometry determines the width, forming sequence and minimum bend requirements of the material.
Common listed options include AA3003, AA3005 and AA3105 in H24 temper. Final selection should be based on required stiffness, formability and production-line conditions.
Material thickness affects slat stiffness, finished weight and forming behavior. The listed coating-line capacity is broad, so the actual blind-strip thickness should be specified according to the finished profile rather than selected from the full production capability.
Provide the flat strip width required by the forming line. For existing blind products, using the previously approved feed width can simplify material qualification.
Specify coating thickness, primer, topcoat, gloss, color tolerance, bending requirement and any requested weathering or corrosion test criteria.
Provide the required RAL, Pantone, NCS or approved physical sample. For repeat projects, identify the previously approved batch or color specification where possible.
The listed paper-core inner diameters are 405 mm and 505 mm. Core size and coil weight should be checked against the customer's uncoiler, feeder or production line.
Check thickness and slit width against the approved production specification before loading the coil onto a continuous forming line.
Inspect the visible surface for scratches, dents, coating defects, stains, color variation and other defects that may remain visible on the finished blind slat.
Inspect the slit edges for excessive burr or distortion that could affect handling, feeding or profiling.
For a new profile, thickness or coating configuration, a forming trial is recommended to verify bend behavior, coating condition and final slat geometry before bulk production.
Where several coils will be installed on the same façade, compare supplied material with the approved color reference before production to reduce visible variation between blind sections.

It is used as prefinished forming material for exterior venetian blinds, horizontal blind slats, architectural sun-shading louvres and related outdoor shading profiles.
The listed options include AA3003, AA3005 and AA3105, commonly in H24 temper. The final alloy and temper should be selected according to profile geometry, stiffness and forming requirements.
PVDF is generally selected for more demanding exterior applications where enhanced resistance to UV exposure, weathering and long-term color change is required. PE remains an option for suitable lower-demand or more cost-sensitive applications.
The listed front-side specification has a nominal total coating thickness of 24 µm, consisting of approximately 5 µm primer and 19 µm finishing lacquer within the stated tolerances.
Yes. The listed slitting capability covers 15–2650 mm. The actual slit width should be specified according to the flat feed requirement of the blind or louvre forming line.
RAL K5, RAL K7, Pantone and customer-specific color references can be discussed. Existing projects can also provide an approved physical sample for color evaluation.
Wood-grain finishes are included in the listed decorative options. Exterior suitability should be confirmed according to the specific surface construction and required weathering performance.
Blind slats are formed from flat strip into profiled shapes. Bending performance helps indicate whether the coated material can tolerate the required deformation without unacceptable coating cracking under the agreed test conditions.
Excessive burr can create handling problems, interfere with material feeding and contact forming tools. Controlled slit edges are therefore important for continuous blind-slat production.
The listed paper-core inner diameters are 405 mm and 505 mm. Buyers should confirm compatibility with their decoiler and feeding equipment.
The listed minimum order quantity is approximately 2–5 metric tons per specification. Final MOQ depends on alloy, thickness, width, PVDF coating and color requirements.
Please provide alloy, temper, thickness, slit width, coating specification, color reference, gloss requirement, core diameter, coil weight, order quantity and destination. A blind slat drawing or forming-machine feed specification is also recommended.
