Alloy 3105 Color Coated Aluminum Coil

Aluminum 3105 is a wrought aluminum alloy in the 3xxx series, primarily alloyed with manganese (Mn ~0.6–1.0%) and small copper (Cu ~0.1–0.4%), offering good corrosion resistance, formability, and moderate strength. It is widely used in construction (roofing, siding, gutters), automotive components, and packaging due to its ability to withstand atmospheric exposure and be easily rolled, bent, or welded. Heat-treatable in the H1x/H2x temper states (e.g., H14 for semi-hard), it balances workability with durability. Similar to 3003 but with slightly higher Mn for improved tensile properties (~125–205 MPa), it is cost-effective and recyclable, making it a versatile choice for general-purpose applications requiring moderate strength and corrosion resistance.
