Alloy 5052 Color Coated Aluminum Coil

Alloy 5052 color coated aluminum coil in based on Aluminum alloy 5052 Plate, which is an Al-Mg alloy (Mg content: 2.2%-2.8%) in the 5xxx series. It features medium strength, excellent corrosion resistance (comparable to pure aluminum), and superior formability, making it ideal for cold working processes like stamping and bending. Though not heat-treatable, its strength can be adjusted via cold rolling (e.g., H14, H34 tempers, hardness: 60-100 HB).
In automotive applications, it is widely used for battery pack enclosures and bottom shields in EVs due to impact resistance and corrosion protection. It also serves as door inner panels, trunk lids, and fuel tank casings for its light weight and resistance to liquid corrosion. Its reliable weldability further suits it for structural components requiring joint integrity.
