3105-H24 exterior white color coated aluminum coil is engineered specifically for roll-forming seamless rain gutters and downspouts in residential and commercial architecture. The 3105 alloy offers reliable corrosion resistance, while H24 temper provides an ideal balance of strength and ductility, significantly reducing coating cracking and springback during bending and profiling.
Available with PE polyester or PVDF fluorocarbon coatings, this white coil features consistent surface color, strong UV resistance and anti-chalking performance. It withstands long-term outdoor exposure, rain, humidity and moderate coastal salt mist, maintaining stable appearance and drainage performance. We support custom thickness, slit width and RAL white color matching, with strict surface inspection to lower rejection rates during continuous gutter production. Factory direct bulk supply is available for gutter manufacturers and building material distributors.
3105 aluminium alloy provides a balanced combination of corrosion resistance, strength, formability, and coating compatibility. It is especially suitable for gutter and downspout production because the coil can withstand bending and roll-forming processes without easy cracking, peeling, or deformation.
Taking 3105 H26 as an example, the tensile strength is generally around 160-200 MPa, the yield strength is around 130-170 MPa, and the elongation is approximately 2%-6%. This temper provides sufficient strength while maintaining suitable formability for down gutter manufacturing.

Advantage | Performance | Value for Down Gutter Production |
|---|---|---|
Excellent Corrosion Resistance | 3105 aluminium alloy and protective color coating resist rainwater, moisture, oxidation, and atmospheric corrosion. | Extends the service life of rain gutters, downspouts, and roof drainage systems. |
Lightweight Material | Aluminium density is much lower than steel, reducing the total weight of drainage components. | Makes installation easier and reduces building structural load. |
Good Formability | The coil can be roll-formed, bent, cut, and processed into various gutter and downspout profiles. | Suitable for continuous production of customized rain gutter systems. |
Strong Coating Adhesion | The coating layer maintains good adhesion during forming and long-term outdoor use. | Reduces risks of coating peeling, cracking, and surface failure. |
Custom Color Options | Colors can be matched according to RAL, PANTONE, or customer samples. | Helps gutter systems match roofs, walls, facades, and architectural design styles. |
Residential Buildings: Used for downspouts and rain gutters in villas, apartments, townhouses, and private homes, combining efficient drainage with architectural appearance.
Commercial and Public Buildings: Suitable for drainage systems in shopping malls, office buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals, and public facilities.
Industrial Facilities: Used for factories, warehouses, workshops, and industrial buildings where outdoor durability and corrosion resistance are required.
Municipal Engineering: Suitable for public infrastructure, municipal buildings, roads, bridges, and large-scale drainage projects.
Villa and High-End Communities: Custom-colored down gutters can match exterior decoration and improve the overall visual quality of the building.
Raw Material Inspection: Select qualified aluminium raw materials and test chemical composition and mechanical properties to ensure compliance with production standards.
Melting and Casting: Melt aluminium materials in a professional furnace and cast them into aluminium slabs or billets through controlled casting technology.
Hot Rolling and Cold Rolling: Roll aluminium slabs into coils and reduce them to the required thickness with accurate thickness control.
Annealing Treatment: Heat the cold-rolled coils in an annealing furnace to improve ductility and reduce internal stress.
Surface Pretreatment: Degrease, rinse, and passivate the aluminium surface to improve coating adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Color Coating: Apply primer and topcoat through a roller coating machine, with coating thickness controlled evenly.
Curing Process: Bake the coated coils in a curing oven to ensure full coating curing and strong adhesion.
Slitting and Cutting: Slit large coils into custom widths or cut them into required lengths according to customer requirements.
Quality Inspection: Test coating adhesion, coating thickness, color consistency, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance.
Packaging and Shipping: Pack coils with moisture-proof film, kraft paper, protective materials, and export-standard pallets for safe transportation.
A1: H24 is strain-hardened and partially stabilized. It has better elongation and forming performance than H14. It is less prone to cracking when forming tight gutter profiles and shows lower springback, which is preferred by most gutter roll-formers.
A2: Yes. Our coating formula is optimized for gutter fabrication. When following the recommended bending radius, the paint layer stays intact without cracking. Overly sharp folds will still raise the risk of coating damage.
A3: PE coating is economical for inland normal climate areas with a service life of around 8–12 years. PVDF coating delivers outstanding UV and anti-chalk performance, suitable for high-sunlight, coastal and premium architectural projects with longer warranty requirements.
A4: Standard thickness covers 0.30mm–0.60mm. Slit widths range from 300mm to 1250mm, and we can cut custom widths to fit different gutter machines. Popular white colors include RAL9016 and RAL9003.
A5: It can be used in coastal regions, but PVDF coating is highly recommended to resist salt spray erosion. PE coated versions are more suitable for inland non-coastal environments. Proper edge sealing during installation helps extend service life.
Export standard seaworthy packing is available with wooden pallets in horizontal or vertical packaging according to customer requirements. Protective packing helps prevent moisture, scratches, collision damage, and deformation during long-distance transportation.
