Our food-grade lacquered aluminium foil features a thickness range from 40 μm to 300 μm. One side is coated with colourless or coloured lacquer, while the other side adopts professional heatsealing lacquer. Surface lubrication is available as an optional customized service to meet diverse processing demands.
Vinyl, epoxy or polyester resin can be supplied per customer requirements, with customizable colour options. The lacquer boasts outstanding adhesion to aluminium foil and passes strict adhesive tape testing.
Epoxy and polyester lacquer achieve over 50 MEK double rubs for solvent resistance, withstand 2 minutes dry heating at 240°C and 15 minutes boiling water immersion. Polyester type is BADGE-free for food safety.
Heatsealing lacquer adopts vinyl or polyester material, fully authorized for food contact complying with FDA standards. Both types are BADGE-free; polyester lacquer is additionally BPA-free and PVC-free.
It resists 30-minute room temperature water exposure and 5-minute boiling water at 100°C, ideal for frozen desserts and ready-to-cook food packaging.
Vinyl lacquer: Peel strength to PVC over 12 N/15mm; porosity<5 pores/m².
Polyester lacquer: Peel strength to universal lid over 9 N/15mm; porosity<5 pores/m².
Epoxy lacquer is PVC-free, with over 30 MEK double rubs. It withstands 240°C dry heating, 180°C high temperature plus -16°C low-temperature storage and 121°C steam sterilization. It also resists 3% acetic acid pasteurization at 80°C for 2 hours.
Lubrication treatment is optional, and the lubricant coating quantity can be fully customized as customer’s technical request.
Compliant with EN 573-3 European standards, applicable alloys include EN AW 8011A, EN AW 8006, EN AW 3005, EN AW 3105. Thickness, alloy and temper can be tailor-made for specific ready-to-cook and frozen dessert packaging applications.
Compliant with GB/T 3190 Chinese national standards, applicable alloys include 1100, 3003, 3004, 8011, 8006.
All specifications strictly follow GB/T 3190 and GB/T 27686 industry norms. Thickness, alloy grade and temper are also available for customized production, perfectly matching ready-to-cook food and frozen dessert packaging requirements.
