Production Process

Anodized mirror aluminum adopts continuous bright polishing and anodizing process. Process flow: aluminum coil uncoiling → degreasing & surface cleaning → mechanical bright polishing → electrochemical anodization → dyeing (optional) → sealing treatment → protective PE film lamination → cooling → online inspection of reflectivity & gloss → slitting / rewinding → finished product packing. The oxide film grows from aluminum substrate, avoiding coating peeling risk. Each batch will test reflectivity, film thickness, salt spray and wear resistance.

Full inspection before shipment: oxide film thickness test, specular reflectivity test, gloss measurement, scratch hardness test, salt spray test, cross-cut adhesion test. Mill Test Certificate (MTC) can be provided. We strictly check surface scratches, wave and reflectivity uniformity for every coil to guarantee stable optical and decorative performance.

Packing

Standard seaworthy export packing. Anodized mirror aluminum coils are covered with PE protective film, wrapped by waterproof kraft paper and plastic film, fixed on fumigated wooden pallets. Edge guards are equipped to prevent edge damage during ocean shipping. Custom packing solution is available.

• Q: Can anodized mirror aluminum be used outdoors?
  A: For exterior use, we recommend oxide film ≥15μm. Long-term outdoor exposure requires strict environment assessment; silver mirror is the most stable option.

• Q: What is the difference between anodized mirror aluminum and PET laminated mirror aluminum?
  A: Anodized mirror aluminum has integrated oxide layer, scratch resistant and no peeling. PET laminated mirror is film attached, easy to peel and fade under sunlight.

• Q: What is your MOQ for colored anodized mirror aluminum?
  A: Standard silver mirror has low MOQ. Custom colors like gold, bronze require higher MOQ, please contact us for quotation.
