Aluminum/PE/Carton/PE sheet, also known as Aluminum-Polyethylene-Carton-Polyethylene laminated sheet, is a high-performance four-layer composite material engineered for superior barrier protection and structural integrity. This innovative laminated structure combines the unique properties of each individual layer to create a versatile packaging solution that excels in both functionality and sustainability.

The four-layer configuration follows a precise sandwich design:

1. Outer Aluminum Layer: Provides exceptional barrier against oxygen, moisture, light, and contaminants

2. First PE (Polyethylene) Layer: Acts as an adhesive bonding layer and offers additional moisture resistance

3. Carton (Paperboard) Core Layer: Delivers structural rigidity, printability, and eco-friendly characteristics

4. Inner PE Layer: Ensures safe food contact, heat sealability, and chemical resistance

Manufacturing Process Of Aluminum/PE/Carton/PE sheet

1. Material PreparationSelect food-grade aluminum foil, coated carton board, and low-melt-index PE resin; perform surface treatment (corona treatment) to improve bonding fastness between layers.

2. Extrusion Lamination / Dry Lamination

1. Extrusion lamination: Molten PE resin is extruded as a thin film to bond aluminum foil and carton board.

2. Dry lamination: Use adhesive to compound aluminum foil with PE film, then laminate with carton board and inner PE layer.

3. Cooling & SettingThe composite web passes through a cooling roller system to stabilize layer bonding and eliminate internal stress.

4. Slitting & WindingCut the large-width sheet into target sizes according to customer requirements, then wind into rolls or cut into flat sheets.

5. Pre-delivery InspectionConduct appearance, thickness, barrier property and bonding strength tests before packaging and delivery.
